Corrigans' digital audio is the best and most efficient way for you to integrate sound into your store. The addition of sound technology enables the inanimate to communicate with people and provide timely and concise information. These economical products are easy to integrate and rugged enough to withstand the most demanding environments. The Que will play back a faithful reproduction of prerecorded voice, sound effects or music. Storage is electronic with no tapes or discs to wear out, and there can be no degradation of sound. The Que is reliable communication at your fingertips.
The Que is a microprocessor controlled audio module, which contains recordings that have been digitally encoded and stored on EPROM memory. The system converts stored digital recordings to an analog signal, which are played through a single audio output. This analog signal can be played through any standard 8-Ohm speaker. Messages are controlled by a series of contact closures or by an interface to external logic. Messages can be played individually or add up to four minutes of separate sequencing sounds. This flexible design allows for complete control over your messages. Maximum recording time is four minutes, and with no moving parts, no maintenance is required.
Digital Sound Development
Original recordings are converted from analog or digital format into digitally coded data. This is edited to suit customer requirements and
programmed into EPROM memory on interchangeable sound modules. These can be installed into the Que audio unit, resulting in crystal clear, totally natural sounding digital recordings. Electronic storage is safe, reliable and permanent until re-recorded. If the need arises recordings can be saved and new recordings added with a new sound module.
